Hello! Project 2009 Poll

Mr. Paul over at Hello!Blog made a poll to see who is the most popular Hello! Project member for 2009. Somehow he included the Elder Club as well, but I’ll save that rant for a different moment. I’m kinda late to notice this top 10 but I’m not blame. Well… I am to blame. LOL. Anyhow, because Paul decided that client-side input requires no server validation I managed to slightly alter the results for my poll. Resulting in the only true top 10!

Now cast your vote with Reina on number 1, as there are only 4 days remaining!

    You’re funny!
How on earth did you vote for Reina 10 times? I had to use 10 profiles to do that, and voting her to be number 1 each time.

Good to see your efforts for getting Reina on #1 :D
It’s a bit of a technical story, but Paul used Javascript to create the poll results. If you check out the source of the poll you see “”. Those are the poll options. It runs from member1 to 10. Simply edit the source via a plugin (I recommend Webdeveloper Toolbar), change the values from member1 to member10 to:

(m3 refers to Reina her ID), and submit the poll.
That’s how you get Reina there 10 times! :D Because the values of “member1″ to “10″ are not required to be unique on the serverside you can mess about a bit with the results. Of course; I don’t recommend doing this as it poisons the results. XD

I just noticed that it’s not showing the HTML. So here it is again:

    input type=”hidden” id=”member1″ name=”member1″ value=”null”

    to

    input type=”hidden” id=”member1″ name=”member1″ value=”m3″
